Uji Prestasi Pesawat Terbang Wing In Ground Effect Saat Hydro Planning

Abstract

Fase take off merupakan saat kritis pada pesawat wing in ground effect dimana terjadi moment pitching positif yang membesar. Caya hambat air pada titik pusat buoyansi dari hull, gaya angkat aerodinamika pada titik pusat tekanan dari sayap, gaya propulsi dan gaya berat pada titik pusat gravitasi dalam keadaan tidak dalam posisi seimbang saat hydro planning. Sayap jenis inverse delta dengan bentuk punduk diatasnya dan airfoil jenis Clark Y mempunyai luas sayap sebesar 31.75 m2• Koefisien gaya angkat dan gaya hambat aerodinamika dihitung dengan menggunakan piranti lunak DATCOM. Sayap horizontal pada ekor menggunakan airfoil NACA 0012 dan sayap vertikal pada ekor mempunyai airfoil simetri NACA 0015. Ponton dan winglet dipasang pada bagian ujung luar sayap. Kurva hambatan air dari hull diperoleh perhitungan analisis dan uji model di towing tank. Uji thrust dan penimbangan berat pesawat sudah dilakukan di hanggar. Kesimpulan dari hasil uji terbang mengatakan bahwa terjadi kondisi kelebihan berat, tidak tepatnya posisi titik pusat gravitasi sehingga diperlukan tenaga mesin yang lebih besar untuk meneruskan fase takeoff.
